Kill Crickets

How To Kill Crickets
If you need, and I mean really need, to kill crickets, there are a few ways to go about it, though it can take a bit of time for the results to show up. The most common need to kill crickets stems from the infestation of gardens and crop fields by the ruthless and cunning mole cricket species. These particular pests can be very damaging to the agriculture business, with the exception of one particular species, the southern mole cricket. He is a carnivorous cricket, feeding voraciously on smaller pesky crop eaters and even their own kind when weak or dead. They are not normally considered as pests, but rather revered and welcomed as aids in the fight against crop damage and loss.
To kill crickets of the mole species who are after your garden goodies, you may need to get some help from an agricultural hazards professional. While poisoning the tops of your plants against them can slow the mole crickets down, this will not kill them all or even cause them to move on. They burrow through the ground beneath their favorite and most plentiful food sources, where they proceed to devour tender root systems and vulnerable tubers. These little buggers are hard to find and dispose your property of, and some damage to your garden or crop areas where they have burrowed may be damaged even more brutally while extermination is being accomplished.
When you aim to kill crickets in your home, you might want to think about how detrimental the issue is with your visitors. Crickets do not, as a general rule, breed or reproduce indoors. This means that if there is a small collection of crickets in your living area they will become a larger collection, as is the issue with spiders, cockroaches, and termites. Crickets most normally enter the home during periods of extreme drought where they seek moisture, or during downpours when the rain is too heavy. Shelter is the objective, and they are not hunting for food, though if anything edible should be presented they aren’t above giving it a try. Determining how detrimental their presence is, and how much damage they may do to both your fabrics and to your sleeping patterns will be of the utmost importance.
If you deem it necessary to kill crickets who have decided on your basement or other areas of your home for shelter, you will have pretty good luck with an over the counter pesticide fogger or two. Be sure to read and follow the instructions on the bombs explicitly, and remove every living thing from the home before you kill crickets therein. You may find that picking them up and disposing of them outdoors is a bit less expensive.
