Common Household Bugs

A Quick Review Of Common Household Bugs
Common household bugs include members of the insect and arachnid families, and can usually be found in most areas of the continental United States. Each state or region seems to have its own indigenes or immigrant pests, however, and the total number of common household bugs could topple the thousands. As we all know, the fact that they are common does not make them acceptable, but learning a little bit about what they do, and what they offer in terms of disease or damage, can help us come to terms with having to share our world with them. Those who aren’t poisonous can still be deadly, after all, and should not be left to freely roam by cover of night upon our counter tops and tables, within our drawers and on our utensils. Here is a short once over of the most common household bugs.
Cockroaches are one of the most plentiful, hardy, stubborn, and unwelcome common household bugs to ever grace the human homestead. It certainly isn’t as easily taken care of by pesticide bombs or chemical treatments. The cockroach has survived billions of years of ecological oblivion, and our little poisonous elements aren’t about to take him down any time soon. He has become stronger and more resistant, passing on to his offspring this superior immunity. Baiting is the new arsenal, as adults who eat these slow poisons will carry them to the nest where they cause birth defects and deformities to the up and coming generations. This seems to be the strongest defense against these common household bugs, aside from the sanitation and sterilization of our entire homes on a daily basis.
Another set of common household bugs are in the family arthropod, and of the class arachnid, and from the genus spider. Of this genus there are literally countless species and subspecies, and most of them delight in the comfort and protection of the indoors. There is no wind to break and sway their webs, there is no rain to wash them out of their trench, there is no snow to be afraid of and hibernate from. The house is a wonderland to most spiders, and spiders are a scary surprise to most of us. There seems yet to be a happy medium between even the most harmless and private household spiders and their human hosts. These common household bugs have babies, and their babies have babies, and sooner or later you will wake up with a number of spider bites on your body. And this may be fine, just a tad bit itchy, unless you are allergic to insect bites. Sorry spider friends, but you need to find a nice little shed.
